Lecturer – University of Victoria

As a lecturer at the University of Victoria, I teach Canadian Elections, Gender and Politics, Gender Dynamics in Canadian Politics, and Introduction to Political Science Methods.

I design my courses to equip students as researchers, consumers of politics, and active participants in the political world.

Through assignments and activities, students are supported to use course content to bridge the gap between academia and the real world of politics unfolding before us.

"Grace is an excellent instructor. She actually teaches you how to understand and engage with the content and provided materials to do so. Grace wears many hats outside academia and provides an unique perspective on this stuff. She's a real gem"

"Prof. Lore is one of the most approachable profs I have had while at UVIC. She has lots of respect for her students. "

"Not only is she an amazing professor, super interested in her material, but she cares for the wellbeing of her students. She makes class super interesting and her use of surveys/data helped me understand and be inspired for a change in politics. Dr. Lore was always there to talk to when needed, whether before/after class, office hours, and emails."
